Novel 1

Currently on the back burner…

My first novel began to be physically created in February 2011. If you want to be technical, it was truly created many years before then but remained in the confines of my head.

What I began writing back in 2011 has turned into something entirely different and yet, it is still the same. In my head I hadn’t been able to identify each character to his or her fullest nor, the world in which they live in nor, their relationships with each other. At times, I’ve had to shake my head to fully understand that these are not real people but during the process of writing this novel, I have to believe they are real.

Also, I found myself writing how the characters got to the point where I initially began. First, because they have this history, I was writing it as the backstory. It is like how Star Wars began with episode 4, 5 and 6 only to have episode 1, 2 and 3 be as good a story. At this point in time, my story will start at episode 1; it has to be told. (I’m reconsidering this.)

This first novel of mine is a Science Fiction. It is about two people who grew up together only to become separated. Their lives become utterly different which makes being reunited difficult.

In all honesty, I have to stop there. Once I get it all polished, and get some advice how to promote it here, I will post more. Until then, I will continue my work.

Update: So, I’ve decided to take a break from this story. I won’t abandon it entirely, it is my first whether or not its published before anything else. If you go to read about Novel 2 then you will see why.
